As part of the in-house creative team at Wyzant, I helped drive a successful rebrand and thus, a successful market reposition. Our work in updating the brand helped shift the core market from offline K-12 students to online adult learners. I played a pivotal role in implementation of new brand identity and positioning across site, apps, and all student and tutor acquisition and retention communications. In the two year immediately following the rebrand, online lesson share and online tool usage both grew significantly.
Wyzant is the nation's largest community for one-on-one learning, connecting people who want to know with the experts who can teach them.
Our goal with the color palette was to mature it to better serve the new adult learner. Usability on web and mobile app was considered at length; a collection of UI colors were included (a set of reds and yellows, an expanded collection of greys) although not shown here.
a collection of social media posts
For these social media posts (and others) I took the lead on bringing the team's concepts to life and over time wore many hats including but not limited to photographer, prop buyer and stylist, chalk letterer, talent and casting agent, set stylist, illustrator, producer, pumpkin carver, director, craft services, retoucher, and of course, graphic designer.
